As a world-class higher education institution, the University of Pittsburgh is committed to fostering a strong, interconnected culture in which students, faculty, staff, and alumni strive for excellence. People are at the heart of our community, people are what powers Human Resources’ mission. Our purpose is grounded in creating an environment and delivering an employee experience that attracts, retains, and rewards a high-performing, diverse staff at all levels.
As the University evolves, so too, must OHR which is why we are embarking on an HR Transformation. There are three major components to this transformation, which taken together, will accelerate the achievement of our mission and vision. This is a three-year journey and it is imperative that we engage with and be informed by the University community at all levels. Our listening strategy includes surveys, focus groups, interviews and interactive data-gathering sessions. We intend to touch all campuses and will deeply consider what we learn.
