Policy on Extreme Weather Conditions

Please note: The policy on Extreme Weather Conditions was revised in 2019 to become AO 18 University-wide Closure and Class Cancellation. You are encouraged to review the revised policy to ensure you are informed of any policy updates.


As we approach another winter season, please take a moment to review the memo below regarding University Policy 07-04-02, Extreme Weather Conditions, which outlines the University’s policy on extreme weather conditions. Please also be aware of any additional procedures that may be implemented by your respective area/department.

Also be aware that the University offers an Emergency Notification Service (ENS) which is used to communicate with subscribers through voice, text, and email messages, as deemed appropriate in the event of an emergency.
