The Office of Human Resources is excited to announce a collaboration with the non-profit organization GreenPath to provide eligible University employees with finance and debt management coaching services.
The program is available for full-time and part-time (at 50% effort or greater in the tenure stream) regular faculty; full-time regular postdoctoral associates; full-time regular postdoctoral scholars; full-time and part-time regular research associates; and full-time and part-time regular staff.
With GreenPath, eligible employees can receive confidential one-on-one finance and debt coaching that considers an employee's full financial picture; an unbiased review of an individual's financial situations, goals, and underlying causes; personalized plans to take action; and reduced interest rates on credit cards to help pay off debt faster (for those that participate in the optional Debt Management Plan).
GreenPath offers a variety of counseling options, including: budget/debt counseling, rental delinquency counseling, mortgage default/delinquency counseling, credit report review, and more.
Services Available through GreenPath
Telephonic Coaching Sessions
- Offered at no cost to eligible employees.
- Confidential and unlimited access to all counseling services, such as budget/debt counseling, rental delinquency counseling, mortgage default/delinquency counseling, credit report review, and more.
Debt Management Plan
- Optional fee-based program (individuals will pay a monthly fee to GreenPath if they choose to enroll in a Debt Management Plan).
- Provides an individually designed repayment plan to help employees work with creditors to receive better repayment terms and help pay off debt faster1.

Employees interested in financial and debt coaching and building lifelong financial confidence can get started with a telephonic coaching session. All telephonic coaching sessions are offered at no cost to eligible employees.
