Exciting Updates are Coming to the University Retirement Savings Plan

A new chapter is about to begin for savings and retirement investments—exciting updates are coming to the University Retirement Savings Plan.

While the basic design of the current Plan (eligibility, vesting, and contribution and matching rates) will stay the same, get ready for a more efficient investment menu, an option for a self-directed brokerage account, the addition of a new 457(b) plan, and expanded resources and tools to guide you.

From January through March, you will be able to take part in a number of information sessions, get one-on-one advice through scheduled appointments or at walk-up help desks, and attend webinars all designed to help you better understand the updates and help you figure out what action, if any, you need to take.

Let the University help you write your financial story. Prepare for the future you imagine by learning more about the updates and enrolling or updating your plan selections today. Check out the Guide to Plan Updates that was mailed to your home or visit hr.pitt.edu/your-financial-story.
