Environmental Wellness

Environmental Wellness

Environmental wellness not only encourages us to interact with our natural surroundings and neighbors, but it also encourages us to continuously promote sustainability so that the surroundings that help us will continue to grow and stay around for a long time. Personal development is often affected by your natural surroundings, so by being open to welcoming sustainable innovation and practices for the entire campus, you are also learning how to take better care of yourself. The Farms to Pitt program and Pitt's Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation are only a few of the many ways Pitt encourages environmental wellness for our faculty, staff, and students.

Farmers market dates for this spring are also available; come enjoy the weather, support local farmers, and stock up on healthy foods!
